You can buy colourful fruit & vegetables, oven-baked bread, and fresh fish in the nearby markets and prepare your own meals in the privacy of your own home. Another option is eating out. Our personal favourite is a short walk to one of three 5-star restaurants nearby. If tourism is what you're after, the metro and various bus lines can shuttle you to the city centre in 15-20 minutes. If your heart is set on admiring the remarkable arquitecture of Gaudi, then hop on the metro and get off just 5 stops down on the L3 at VALLCARCA (10 mins) to check out Park Güell. Stay on for 2 more stops until DIAGONAL (4 mins) to take the Passeig de Grącia stroll and photograph a few of his most admired buildings. If the Gothic quarter is on your agenda then stay on the metro for 3 more stops to CATALUNYA (6 mins) and do the Rambla from top to bottom. It's really that close and that easy!
